Every Saturday afternoons, from 3 to 6 pm, between December and February only, a real pastry Chef welcomes you to his family bakery with a traditional wood-fired oven to show you all the steps involved in making a real bolo-rei, from the dough with all the ingredients to decorating and baking. We will also prepare other versions of bolo rei such as 'bolo rainha' or 'bolo escangalhado' made with sweet pumpkin.

If you live in Faro or nearby, a fabulous address is the pastelaria 'Trigo Dourado', street name is R.
