The tour will start at 10 a.m. at Faro’s market, where you will see an abundance of sardines, mackerel, tuna, octopus and much more, freshly caught from the sea, to the seafood traditional Açorda, a local seafood delicacy you cannot miss out on, the Fisherman Food Tour is certainly a culinary experience fit for fish lovers!

Throughout the food tours, you will enjoy 5 to 6 food tastings, 3 to 4 drink tastings (mostly alcoholic drinks), which is equivalent to a substantial lunch.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans most delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals.

Are children allowed?

Yes. IDs will be checked. Please refer to our Compare Page in order to check if the tour is Family Friendly or not.

Are bathrooms available during the tour?

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

Tours are held rain or shine. That’s how much we love the food! We ask you to check the weather before hand and dress appropriately. And don’t worry, tasting will occur indoors if needed as things don’t taste as good soggy.
