Have questions? Here's the most frequently asked.

Are children allowed?

Generally Yes. IDs will be checked. Please refer to our Compare Page in order to check if the tour is Family Friendly or not.

The Lunch at the Vineyard experience and Sunset Picnic in Tavira are adults only.

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans most delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.

On the Orange Farm and Silves Food Tour we can accommodate vegetarians, gluten or dairy intolerances, but not vegans.

On the Moncqhique Hills & Flavor, Portimao Evening Food&Wine Stroll and Sunset Picnic in Tavira, we are unable to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, gluten or dairy intolerance.

What do we do in case of bad weather?

Most of the tours are held rain or shine. That’s how much we love the food! We ask you to check the weather before hand and dress appropriately. And don’t worry, tasting will occur indoors if needed as things don’t taste as good soggy.

The only experience that could be rescheduled in case of severe bad weather conditions are the E-Bikes Tour of Rural Algarve and the Sunset Picnic in Tavira.

What should I bring with me?

You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear and an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves. If it looks like rain we can provide you with a plastic rain poncho.

We did the heritage tour with Paulo today and it was the highlight of our month long stay in Portugal. Visiting old towns, walking the back streets all with a knowledgeable and friendly guide was absolute bliss.
